Providence AI ("Providence," "we," "us") is an AI platform for chat, voice, and creating images, video, music, books, and more. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Account info: your email address and authentication credentials, used to create and secure your account.
Content you create or provide: prompts, messages, uploads, and the images, video, music, and other works you generate. We store these so you can access your creations.
Camera & microphone: used only when you actively use features that need them (voice chat, the visual assistant, selfies/avatars). Audio and images are processed to deliver the feature and are not sold.
Usage data: basic, app-functional analytics (features used, errors) to operate and improve the service.
Purchases: subscriptions and credits are processed by Apple (in-app) or Stripe (web). We receive confirmation of a purchase; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Location (optional): only if you turn it on, and only to provide local weather/news. It is stored on your device and not sold or shared.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the service and the features you request.
To store and deliver the creations and history tied to your account.
To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
To communicate with you about your account, trials, and service updates (you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time).

What we do NOT do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your private content to build advertising profiles.
We do not share your data except with the service providers needed to run Providence (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, and the AI providers that power generation), under their respective terms.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data and creations while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (PROV Bank → Delete account, or contact us), which removes your account data. Some records may be retained as required by law or for fraud prevention.

Children

Providence is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Content generation includes safety filtering for child-directed material.

Your choices

Access, correct, or delete your data via in-app account controls or by contacting us.
Turn camera, microphone, and location permissions on or off in your device settings.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
